This Saturday we have a 36 mile anti-clockwise route with just the odd hill..

It’s hopefully shorts weather!

I was nervous about riding with others as I felt I wouldn't be able to keep up with club riders. I was a member for ages before finally getting out one time to try it after seeing all the fun on facebook and strava. I am SO glad i did. I think its definitely the most welcoming and friendliest club in the area looking at the others on facebook. It really is for everyone. If I have been struggling at the back the ride has slowed for me. I punctured once and someone came back to check within a couple of minutes! The others then stopped ahead too. They have taught me how to be a better cyclist and how to ride with others. I have been to a lot of places I've never been to and seen different ways of getting around. I had been missing out on many popular routes as i just didnt know they were there. Riding together is faster and more fun, and my climbing is much better just through following others. Plus its free..... there is no excuse now. Every magazine and website says you should join a club and for the Hull area there is no friendlier club around!~Mark
